OzU Brew Academy
Özyeğin University's Brew Academy has been actively promoting and spreading the culture of quality coffee on campus since its establishment in 2022. The academy has hosted over 60 workshops and 2 festivals to date. In the current academic year, it expanded its focus to include quality tea, effectively transforming into a brewing club that encompasses more than just coffee, in line with its name. This expansion represents a key milestone in its vision.
After three years of consistent growth, OzU Brew Academy now ranks among the top five clubs at Özyeğin University, boasting nearly 500 members from a roster of over 70 university clubs.
Coffee Break
Coffee Break started in 2022, as a way for the academy to help students take a break from final exam stress and relax in a lovely environment and most importantly with lots of coffee.
The event saw its success at the second edition, which was a part of a bigger Coffee Fest, suddenly becoming a favourite among the members of the club; proving its place in club’s culture and future.
In 2024, Coffee Break aims to connect the coffee community in a meaningful and fun way, hosting people from both the industry and other universities communities.
